Elecon have manufactured and supplied 8.5E 10 Mill Gear box for Coal Grinding in Power Plants. This have been developed against the existing imported unit for easy replacement without disturbing position of Motor and Coal Mill.

This is a two stage gear box having input shaft horizontal and output shaft (having the flange coupling) vertically upward. The 1st stage is of bevel gearing and 2nd stages is of helical gearing.
